Photo Archive - Slavic Village

The Slavic Village (Warszawa) neighborhood is so known because it was once home to a predominantly Polish-speaking immigrant population, much of which originated in Warsaw, Poland.  It is said that there was no need to know the English language as residents and business owners conversed in the language of the old country.
